In 2011 five Catholic Secondary Schools joined together to establish the Hibernian Society Cup rugby competition. The Schools involved are: Francis Douglas Memorial College New Plymouth, St Bernard’s Lower Hutt, St John’s Hastings, St Patrick’s College Wellington and Hato Paora College Feilding.
